It seems that Liam Payne wants to bring back his former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles. Recently Liam has celebrated Harry’s Styles for his recent Vogue cover story.

Liam and Harry were bandmates in One Direction. The 27-year-old singer Liam is applauding Harry for remaining true to his character. A few days ago, Liam participated in a formal chat with Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast. In this conversation, Liam stated, “He’s never really lost himself, even in spite of everything after the band.”

Liam also explained that he and Harry “didn’t speak for a long time” after they decided to pause the activities of the band. Then Liam said, “Then I remember seeing him…it was actually at Jingle Bell Ball, backstage for the first time in a long time…and he’s still the same guy he was when we left each other in that dressing room as the band kind of stopped for a little bit.”

Liam also praised the “Sign of the Times” singer for handling the controversy. He also discussed the recent history-making Vogue cover story. He said, “Oh, I thought it was great, you know,” Liam also said. “I think he’s enjoying himself and he’s free to do as he wishes. There’s been a lot more stuff going on this year than whether or not he’s wearing the right clothes in someone else’s mind.”

Fans may recall, Harry’s Vogue dress in early December when he posted a photo from his Variety Hitmaker. Alongside a picture of him eating a banana, Harry wrote, “Bring back manly men.”

At that time, Harry also spoke about his fashion choices. He said, “To not wear [something] because it’s females’ clothing, you shut out a whole world of great clothes,” He also said, “And I think what’s exciting about right now is you can wear what you like. It doesn’t have to be X or Y. Those lines are becoming more and more blurred.”
