We have all seen lists of satisfying pictures full of symmetry that make every perfectionist’s toes curl in happiness, well this isn’t one of them. It is the exact opposite. We found some of the most jarring and uncomfortable pictures which will make you question everything.

justsomething.co

From simple mistakes to intentional pranks, if you like to see perfect lines and clean patterns this will going to be your personal hell but for all you who love chaos, well scroll away happily.

A Big Slice

We think cutting cake is an art form, one which this person clearly doesn’t understand.  While we might have forgiven the angle of the slices typically, the fact that each cut is marked yet ignored is infuriating.

justsomething.co

Whoever made this cheesecake knew the importance of cutting a perfect slice and know that they would be in just as much pain seeing this picture as we are. This was such a simple task!

Twist And Shout

Let’s start with the good stuff, the detail on this tilework is beautiful and shows a real grasp of mastery in an unexpected way. But something tells us that whoever designed these tiles didn’t want this to be the result.

justsomething.co

All seemed to be going well and the tiles were sequentially laid for most of the part until it looks like whoever was working on the project, completely lost their grip and managed to make this woman the most flexible person in the world.

The Worst Angle

One look at this wall and we want to run away and hide. Again, this one feels more jarring since most of the angles are perfectly straight and match except for the main corner. And this slight imperfection makes this image only worst.

justsomething.co

Had the construction workers not even tried to align them, it probably wouldn’t be this bad – not that it would have been acceptable but still. It is the subtle mistake which ends up making a large impact that is worst.

A Penny For Your Thoughts

The world loves an interesting tile pattern but forgets that executing one is rather hard and this list is full of proof of that fact. Penny tiles have become a trendy addition to many homes and their unique shape allows them to add drama to the space.

justsomething.co

But that drama only works if the design is followed to perfection, something which is easier said than done. At first glance, you might not even notice the mistake but once you do it is all that your eye can see.

A Quick Turn

Technically, this picture doesn’t deserve to be here because whoever painted the lines did so by initially perfectly matching it over the manhole cover as well or at least that is what we are hoping for.

justsomething.co

Along the way though, it looks like the cover got turned and ruined the perfect alignment and thus ended up on our list. What we wouldn’t give to reach through our computer screens and quickly turn it around.

Amature Business

We are certain that this was done by a confident DIYer, at least that is our hope because if this person is a professional tiler – they honestly don’t deserve to be in business! Just look at that mismatched alignment.

justsomething.co

We haven’t tiled once in our life but even we know that it is the first basic step to make sure all your pieces are lined together before you grout them! And also to always double-check not once but twice.

Label Away

Okay, we understand when DIYers can’t seem to perfectly tile complicated designs but anyone should have been able to fix this mistake or not even have made it, to begin with. Anyone who knows how to read at least.

justsomething.co

Another picture, which in our opinion shouldn’t exist. We hope whoever took this one went ahead and properly labelled the switches because it isn’t a hard job to figure out which one is the centre and which one is the left and right.

Have A Kit Kat

Everyone loves a rule breaker but with KitKats, this seems sacrilegious in every way. Not only is this just plain annoying but ruins the way how you are supposed to enjoy the well-loved chocolate.

justsomething.co

Breaking off each bar is half the fun with KitKats and this goes against our entire being. Also, how is one to “share a KitKat” when it looks like that and would only make us scream and run the other way.

A Simple Mistake

Everyone is allowed to make mistakes but when your job is to create specific designs in a commercial building, that mistake can end up producing a very jarring impact that will drive people to talk about your work and not in the way one wants.

justsomething.co

What we wouldn’t give to change that one green tile with a white one and allow everyone, including us to focus on the beautifully sharp diamond pattern that is meant to be the result.

The Perfect Line

Ahh! This one is hard to critique. How can we say anything bad about puppies! But clearly, we must. It looks like the puppies were intentionally colour coordinated to create the perfect line of cuteness.

justsomething.co

And while everyone seemed to have followed their orders, two puppies missed the memo. And they happened to be the first two ones we see! If only, the black and white puppies had been switched this would have been a picture for the ages.

A Slight Issue

Whoever installed these park seats seemed to have forgotten about how the seats are meant to work. And rather than fix this simple mistake, left it as it is resulting in many poor folks ending up bumping their poor knees on the hard metal.

justsomething.co

What was meant to be a well-thought-out ergonomic design turns out to be the reason for bruised knees. Having seen so many of these pictures now, we do have to wonder why nobody bothered to fix such simple mistakes?!

The One Blue Guy

This is more of a manufacturing error rather than a human error, so we will let it slide. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t annoying regardless of who is responsible for the mistake. And the drastic difference in colours only makes it more prominent.

justsomething.co

Is it bad that we want to take out all the red candies? mints? just to find the blue one to finally put it where it belongs! Okay, yeah we know it is bad but that still wouldn’t have stopped us from fixing it.

Great Design

While most of the pictures in this list cause us to have more of a philosophical knee jerk reaction, this one hurts our practical brain as well. What is even the point of this blinder clip and how is it supposed to do the one job it is created for?

justsomething.co

The one alignment issue ends up making the whole binder unusable and it doesn’t even matter if the rest of the clips work – just one little flaw and the whole thing falls apart. This picture reminds us to make sure to always double-check our stationery before we buy it!

Close Enough

Another DIY-er or again we hope. A simple job which could have been easily been perfected with a spirit level or a little bit of comment sense. At first, we thought that the handles weren’t properly aligned but a closer look reveals something far worst.

justsomething.co

Whoever installed this cabinet door seemed to have completely messed up the measurements and ended up hanging the double doors at two very different heights. While we are sure, the math on this wouldn’t have been that far off but even a small difference makes a huge impact.

The Missing Piece

At least this one is easy to figure out where it all went wrong! It looks like someone just got tired of creating the very clean colour-coordinated pattern and decided to have some fun with it.

justsomething.co

The type of fun which makes our perfectionist’s hearts break out into sobs! If only they had stuck to the pattern, we would have spent hours, days, and weeks marvelling at their handiwork rather than adding it to this list.

A Joke

This looks like another employee who seems to have had enough with stacking shelves for the day and decided to drive all their customers and manager insane by leaving only one bottle the whole way around.

justsomething.co

Well, we aren’t sure if it was an employee – it could easily have been a customer as well but whoever it was must have either been very distracted or wanted to play some sort of joke on anyone who had to walk part these shelves.

The Wrong Way

Nothing brings us more joy than straight sleek lines which are perfectly aligned but sadly this picture is the exact opposite. It seems that whoever was working on the yellow safety line seemed to have had a mini-stroke while finishing one of the pieces.

justsomething.co

While we see how they got it wrong but at least to us, it seems that the obvious choice should have been to continue the straight line throughout to create a cohesive and unobtrusive line but of course, that seems like a hard task.

One Light

We can’t figure out what is worst, the sterile cubicles or the irritatingly placed fluorescent lighting! Imagine having to stare at that one light that should have been properly aligned for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week! Yikes.

justsomething.co

And yes, we see the structural support pillar as well and know that is why the light had to be moved but honestly, it would have been way better if they had left the light out completely rather than break the beautiful straight lines.

A Quick Touch

Looking at toilets is bad enough but imagine facing this nightmare! The slightly askew toilet seat makes our imagination go wild and not in a good way. Is this a manufacturing defect? Did someone break it? And the worst possibility yet, was this intentional?

justsomething.co

Touching a public toilet seat is never high on our priority lists of things to do but gosh, just a little scout to the side would have saved the day! We just hope that whoever took this picture, did just that.

Tile Madness

We need the contact information of whoever tiled this table to scream at them! What were they thinking? After having put in, what we imagine was a lot of effort to create the overall intricate pattern how could they get the middle piece wrong?

justsomething.co

And not just wrong but then go ahead and leave it as it is? This simple mistake makes sure that anyone who looks at the table can never admire their hard work and only ends up focusing on their one big mistake.
