The Real’s Jeannie Mai announced the news of her first child with her husband Jeezy. The talk-show host shared the news of the arrival of her first child on social media. However, they have not revealed the sex and name of the baby yet.

She wrote on Instagram, “I asked God for a life of love and happiness. He sent me my family,” “Baby Jenkins is here.” She also shared a photo from the hospital. After knowing the good news fans are expressing their excitement in the comments section.

In an interview, Jeannie said that she didn’t want to know the sex of her child before the birth. She said, “makes things more exciting rather than defining the baby with pink skirts or blue corduroy shorts.” The mom-to-be also explained, “I’m getting everything because I want the baby to have options. It’s very awakening to see how much you put your baby into very specific stereotypes, based on whether or not you know it’s a boy or a girl.”

during the season premiere of The Real, she said, “I do know that you never say never, and that love can really change you,” Jeannie shared with her co-hosts, including Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton, and Garcelle Beauvais. “I’m so thankful to be on a show that’s really helped me to grow and to evolve and to see myself differently than I would have ever imagined seeing myself.”

Then she added, “I’ve got to come home and tell the girls that have always accepted me at every stage of my life, have been through my ups and downs, and have always encouraged me to a place where, I feel like you’ve all individually always told me to, if I wanted to be a mom, I’d be an awesome mom.”
