Zendaya and Tom Holland are not the first co-stars who turned their on-screen chemistry into a real-life romance. Rather they are the third pair of this popular movie series who found the soulmate on their co-stars.

In an interview, Amy Pascal revealed that she advised Tom and Zendaya against any future dating. Pascal said, “I took Tom and Zendaya aside, separately, when we first cast them and gave them a lecture. Don’t go there—just don’t. Try not to.” The trilogy producer said, “I gave the same advice to Andrew (Garfield) and Emma (Stone). It can just complicate things, you know?”

The former Sony executive also stated, “They all ignored me.” Because despite her caution, all the stars all came to a romantic relationship. All the previous three pairs fall in love with their on-screen love interests.”

The director of the first Spider-Man trilogy Sam Raimi said, “They apparently began dating with each other, I think, in the middle of the first movie…although I didn’t know it at the time.” He also said, “They eventually broke up before the second movie. I was concerned they wouldn’t get the same chemistry back, but it was just me worrying,” Then he explained. “They really like each other, I think, very much. And that relationship probably just added to their ability to trust each other.”
