Would you marry a complete stranger? How about a stranger you have just met? The sane answer would be no to both these questions but contestants of the show, Married At First Sight live life on the edge.

Showbiz

The reality t.v show hooked audiences with its captivating premise in which contestants agreed to legally marry a complete stranger and with thirteen seasons under its belt, we take a look back and see how each season’s favourite couple has lasted throughout the years. Was their crazy ride to finding true love actually real? Or was it just for the cameras?

Cortney Hendrix & Jason Carrion: Divorced

The two seemed like the perfect couple when they first said “I do” on Married at First Sight. Jason was an aspiring firefighter while Courtney was a makeup artist. The two had great chemistry on screen.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

But sadly, it wasn’t meant to last with their split being one of the most shocking in the franchise’s history. It’s not all bad news though, both of them are happily remarried now. Courtney remarried a man named Sherm in 2020, and Jason married Celebrity Big Brother UK star, Roxanne.

Monet Bell & Vaughn Copeland: Divorced

Monet and Vaughn were the ideal Love At First Sight couple, they had incredible chemistry and hit it off well, at first sight! The duo had fans rooting for them throughout the season but when it came to Decision Day, they decided to walk away.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

In hindsight, fans have come to realize that their romance seemed to be rather staged and with the exes now living completely separate lives gives more proof to that theory. Monet now lives in New York while Vaughn moved to Germany and is currently living with his girlfriend. They also have a child together.

Danielle Bergman & Bobby Dodd: Married

When Danielle Bergman said, “I’m just completely head over heels in love with you. This is by far the best thing that has ever happened to me,” during Decision Day, it melted millions of hearts and fans were sure that the couple was meant to be.

And it turns out, they were right. The first couple on our list to have stayed married, Danielle and Bobby first met in season seven of the show. In 2019, they welcomed a daughter to their tiny family, Olivia Nicole, and, in 2020, a son, Robert.

Davina Kullar & Sean Varricchio: Divorced

Only OG fans of the show will remember this season two couple. At the time of filming, Davina was 34 and working as a pharmaceutical saleswoman while Sean was a 35-year-old trauma nurse.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

The two had an instant connection but that soon fizzled. It all started when Seann calling Davina “egocentric” and much more. After the two split up, Sean went on to live a private life while Davina is very active on social media. She has also found love and is married to Donald Davis. The two recently welcomed their first child, together.

Jaclyn Methuen & Ryan Ranellone: Divorced

It seemed all downhill from the start when Methuen remarked that Ranellone wasn’t attractive enough for her and when Decision Day came, everyone expected them to call quits but were shocked to find that they wanted to give their relationship another go.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

Though, they broke up by the reunion episode. According to Jaclyn, the couple split because Ryan didn’t put enough effort into their long-distance relationship. She was living in New Jersey at the time and he was in Long Island, New York.

Kristine Killingsworth & Keith Dewar: Married

Season 8’s fan favourites surprised no one when they stayed married and just as in love after the reality t.v show ended. While the couple had a slow start it all worked out in the end for them.

In 2019, one year after their wedding, Kristine and Keith are found checking off milestone after milestone. They bought a house together and can be seen posting pictures together of cosy date nights and vacations on social media.

Anthony D’Amico & Ashley Petta: Married

Anthony D’Amico and Ashley Petta said “I do” during the fifth season of Married at First Sight. At the time, many people had thought the romance between the two were staged but their strong marriage has proved everyone wrong.

In 2021, the two are still happily married and welcomed their second child, a daughter named Vaeda Marie D’Amico in February. You can follow both of them on Instagram where they are very active and post family pictures and much more.

Molly Duff & Jonathan Francetic: Divorced

The two were a match made in heaven….on paper. Sadly, as the duo started to spend more time together and learn about each other, they realized that they just weren’t meant to be. According to Jonathan, Molly just wasn’t an affectionate person.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

Plot twist though, after leaving Molly, Jonathan went on to get in a relationship with Dr Jessica Griffin! Strange to think that Jessica had a hand in Jonathan’s marriage to Molly! It doesn’t seem to bother Jonathan as he seems to be still head over heels in love with Jessica.

Derek Sherman & Katie Conrad: Divorced

You know when you are doubting your marriage as you are getting married, the future isn’t going to be a blissfully wedded peace for you! That is exactly what happened to Katie and Derek!

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

A few weeks after Decision Day, they separated and got divorced. Derek is now spending his days going on adventures and documents it all on his social media accounts. Katie, on the other hand, is engaged to an Air Force man, Brandon.

Jaclyn Schwartzberg & Ryan Buckley: Divorced

The season six match was initially thought to be a success. The two had similar relationship goals and seemed to click immediately. They also had matching intimacy levels but after just ten months, the couple got a divorce.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

Some blame Ryan for the split who was known to be annoying in the season to be too talkative but Jaclyn seems to have completely moved on. She got married in 2020, to a rather private man who isn’t even on social media!

Stephanie Sersen & AJ Vollmoeller: Married

Despite some initial bumps in the road, the two decided to stay together after their season eight Decision Day on Married at First Sight. Fast-forward to 2021, and it seemed like the couple made the right decision.

Flipboard

AJ got candid about how they kept the romance alive, after all these years “You gotta get innovative. You have to think outside the box. There’s not a lot to work with. For us, we don’t even have a backyard. We’re trapped inside four walls,” he said at the time.

Jephte Pierre & Shawniece Jackson: Married

Another couple, who had a rocky start! No one actually expected Pierre and Jackson to stay married after their season six decision day but to everyone’s surprise, the couple stayed committed to each other and have been going from strength to strength.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

In 2018, they welcomed their first child into the world, a beautiful daughter. The couple has become somewhat of a poster child for the realty t.v though it wasn’t all peachy for them since, in an interview, Jackson revealed that at one point, she took off her wedding ring for months – thinking the relationship was over but the couple ended up figuring things out eventually.

Dave Flaherty & Amber Martorana: Divorced

These two had all the right raw ingredients to make for a great couple but sadly, they never worked through their issues. Many blamed Amber’s insecurities for the reason the marriage failed.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

And it looks like, the two haven’t had any better luck after their season ended. The two are still single and seem to be cordial with each other. Dave is devoted to his work while Amber likes to keeps a low profile on social media.

Jessica Studer & Austin Hurd: Married

The fan favourite couple for season 10 of Married at First Sight, Jessica and Austin had the right energy from the start and no one was surprised when they decided to give love a go and stayed together.

ScreenRant

At the reunion special, the two seemed happier than ever. Currently, Austin is working as a network engineer while Jessica is a nurse. During the pandemic, Jessica documented her experience of working with COVID-19 patients.

Deonna McNeill & Gregory Okotie: Married

This couple proved that you don’t have to share the same personality to find love and happiness. Deonna’s outgoing nature initially clashed with Gregory’s reserved way of talking but soon the two found common ground and everything fell into place.

People

A few years later, the two just welcomed their first child, a son and of course, had been dog parents since they got together! Follow both of them on Instagram to get your daily scoop of cuteness from this beautiful couple!

Kate Sisk & Luke Cuccurullo: Divorced

These two are famous in the show for all the wrong reasons, known as one of the most unsuccessful couples in the history of Married At Fight Sight. It all went downhill when Luke claimed he was not attracted to Kate and that she wasn’t his type.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

Luke went on to say that he “felt dead inside” when he kissed Kate for the first time! Thankfully, the couple split and saved themselves from a lifetime of misery. Nowadays, Kate owns a thriving sleepwear business, Hidden Intimates while Luke started a podcast series called Cuccurullo Conversations.

Bennett Kirschner & Amelia Fatsi: Married

The quirky couple had all the raw materials to make for a strong marriage, both of them were non-traditional, open-minded and free-spirited yet when Decision Day came they decided to not stay together — but not for long.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

The two changed their minds after their season and ended up trying to work through their problems. They recently moved from New Orleans to Virginia, with Amelia taking up her residency in the state and Bennett accepting a new job in the solar industry.

Elizabeth Bice & Jamie Thompson: Married

With a bizarre mix of romance and toxicity, viewers never knew where Elizebeth and Jamie stood most of the time. So, when the couple decided to stay together on Decision Day, many thought that the relationship was doomed.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

Fast forward a few years and in 2021, the couple is happily married. The two live in California with Elizebeth giving fans a look into her life through her Youtube Channel while Jamie works in Silicon Valley.

Matthew Gwynne & Amber Bowles: Divorced

Amber put all her effort into making her marriage work, she was raw and open with Mathew while also allowing him to fully express himself. But a great marriage needs both parties to work together and that just wasn’t the case here.

Lifetime/Married at First Sight

Mathew was rather distracted with Amber even revealing that he would leave her and stay out late at night with other women. Divorce appears to be the best option for both of them since Amber is thriving and just bought a house on her own while Matthew recently got a new job as a corporate actions analyst.

Jamie Otis & Doug Hehner: Married

New viewers might not remember the last couple on our list since they first met in the first season! Though, Jamie and Doug helped create the drama and tension fans have come to love and expect from the show.

Jamie wasn’t all that impressed with Dough and even said that she made a mistake marrying him but they seemed to have worked it out since they have been happily married since. The two just welcomed their second child together.
