Now that she’s matured and grown into an amazing person, she’s known for both her acting skillset on-screen, as well as, her philanthropic activism off-screen.

Sending love. E xxx”

Many people have used this epic pandemic as an opportunity to remind themselves that no matter who you are, at the end of the day we are all just as human as the next person. And if there’s any celebrity who personally vouches for this, it’s British actor Idris Elba.

But in his promotional IG video, he posted to help sponsor a fund that raises money for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to give to those who are vulnerable and in need, he couldn’t resist adding some of his classic, savvy humour: “Don’t you miss boring? Well today, we’re uniting to bring boring back as quickly as possible. But not so quickly, that it gets exciting… We’re asking every Canadian to purchase this T-Shirt. And as you can see, it’s boring AF.”

Millie Bobby Brown: Look Good to Feel Good

Another helpful tip to keep in mind to steer yourself away from getting too stir-crazy and bored when you’re in quarantine is pampering yourself. Whether it’s putting on some of your favourite clothes to dress up just cause or giving yourself a mani-pedi, who says that you can’t look good to feel good at home?

One of the most fascinating parts of this whole entire pandemic is seeing how quickly and effectively we’ve been able to alter our lives to a digital and remote format. With the rise and development of technology over the years, this has given many people the ability to work from home.

Image via @bellahadid/IG

But this hasn’t been limited to office and high-tech workers. Supermodel Bella Hadid posted on IG a series of photos with the caption: “Times are changing and working from home has a new meaning …. New work for @vogueitalia shot and styled through FaceTime by my Quaranqueens”.

Some people are dealing with quarantine because of the recommended and required regulations to stay indoors so that you don’t get infected or spread the virus yourself if you have it. However, for the Norwegian Game of Thrones star, Kristofer Hivju and his wife, just like Tom Hanks, Idris Elba, and Colton Underwood, they tested positive in March, as well.

And for a proper “Thank-You”, anyone who donates can sign up to win a virtual dinner with her! She mentioned that 12 lucky winners will “put together a store cupboard dinner, together… we’ll cook it and then we’ll eat it together. And we will discuss lots of things – isolation, fear, and also funny videos, and you know, the fact that I can’t really cook. So, it’s going to be fun! It’s going to be interesting!” How sweet!

And the Indian superstar singer and actress, Priyanka Chopra, was one of the many talented and amazing celebrities that participated. Chopra uploaded her segment on Instagram and wrote: “As I watched with my family, the same as so many of you in the US, India, throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, and beyond, it gave me so much hope that in spite of all the hardship maybe we’ll all emerge from this as kinder and more compassionate.”

Evangeline Lilly: Showing Character and Compassion

Even our most highly-admired celebrities can make mistakes. Especially when so many people look up to you, it takes a lot of courage to both admit when you are wrong, and also your fears. Which is exactly what happened in Ant-Man’s Evangeline Lilly’s case. At first, Lilly avoided the recommended self-isolation rules.

She later uploaded to Instagram a heartfelt post and apology: “My direct and special apologies to those most affected by this pandemic. I never meant to hurt you. When I wrote that post 10 days ago, I thought I was infusing calm into the hysteria. I can see now that I was projecting my own fears into an already fearful and traumatic situation…At the same time, I am heartened by the beauty and humanity I see so many people demonstrating toward one another in this vulnerable time. When I was grappling with my own fears over social distancing, one kind, wise and gracious person said to me ‘do it out of love, not fear’ and it helped me to realize my place in all of this.”

Amy Schumer: Mother to a Little Chef

It looks like the hilarious comedian and actress from Trainwreck and I Feel Pretty, Amy Schumer, has jumped pretty deep into the “Quarantine & Chill” side of the pool. If she’s not cuddled on the couch with her super cute fur baby, then she’s playing around with her adorable 11-month-old baby!
