Every person has a vision of how they want to look like on their wedding day. Some want to keep it understated, while others want to go all out. Either way, the end goal is to always look one’s best, right?

That is what we had assumed before we saw these images. The people featured on this list have, some of the more… interesting wedding styles in mind and by interesting we mean, quite frankly, ugly. If you are looking for wedding inspiration, this place is not for you but in need of a good laugh? Then scroll down below.
01. Feeling comfortable
It’s important to feel comfortable on your big day, which can be a difficult task if you’re expecting a baby. Many couples choose to get hitched before they bring a baby into the world, and it seems as though this woman was no different.

However, she didn’t want a whole load of fabric pressing down on her belly and making her feel all constricted. So, she decided just to cut the whole thing up and roll with it. Either that or she wanted to look like avocado for her big day.

02. Not a real dress
If you’re struggling to pluck up the cash for your big day, you might want to think about joining forces with your friends. After all, that’s what these guys decided to do. However, it seems as though they didn’t just want to share their big day.

They also wanted to share their outfit ideas and their themes, so they went with something a little more intriguing. While they might not be the most normal wedding dresses in the world, at least they saved money on material.

03. A soda cup wedding dress?
You’ve got to give this bride points for creativity. I mean, we’ve never seen a wedding dress made out of soda cups before, so hats off to her for our first … experience. What’s more, we’ve got to give her credit for recycling, although those cups are probably new.

The combination of red and white is rather Christmasy, and as for the rosette-type thingie she’s got in her hands, she looks as if she won a prize for the best red pony at the gymkhana.

04. (Un)holy matrimony
These two must love their punk rock lifestyle, or whatever you would call this. The bride didn’t abandon the customary white but added personality-laden accessories to make it her own, horns and all.

We’re sure those demonic horns went well with the priest who had the task of marrying them. Jokes aside, this isn’t THAT bad and If the kids are happy and in love, we’re sure the man above doesn’t mind!

05. Real-life Shrek and Fiona
This is simply adorable in a relatively scary way! This couple decided to not spend their wedding day, decked out in their bed but dressed up as ogres. They might be covered in green paint and wearing bad clothing but they seem ecstatic.

We have heard many girls talked about their fairy tale wedding but never did we think, someone would get inspired by Shrek but major props to this couple for their commitment. Now, we are waiting for them to dress their kids as Puss In Boots and Donkey.

06. When love for cacti meets wedding gowns
A quick look at this picture, makes us believe that this young woman here completely adores cacti since she has decided to become one, on her wedding day of all days.  We aren’t sure if we are impressed or confused!

All these pictures of bad wedding dresses do have one thing in common, the girls wearing them look as happy as ever and well, that is what is most important. Even if their style, doesn’t match our standards.

07. When you get to lit for your own wedding
Ombre wedding dresses have been on trend for quite a while and most women often pick a soft blush version for their big day but not this young lady. She decided to customize her conventional gown in a unique way.

Instead of a classic all-white setup, she opted to add bright yellow and red flames to the train of her dress. We aren’t sure what message is this dress trying to convey but know for sure that it will be a memorable one.

08. Gangster matrimony
Planning a wedding is exhausting and sometimes, one feels like they lose themselves while having to please everyone. This couple didn’t want that for themselves so they decided to have a low-key casual affair.

Of course, their low-key meant they had spray-painted their clothes in a bright blue and that too done, very poorly. They did, however, manage to accomplish a unique fusion of street style and tradition.

09. Shotgun Wedding
Could this be a shotgun wedding? With her downcast eyes, bizarre choice of colour and pattern for her dress and odd little veil, she bears little resemblance to a happy bride on her wedding day. The brightly coloured orange, red and yellow bouquet provides the only indication that she could be going off to get married.

With her dad following closely behind her with his shotgun, of course, she looks more as though she’s being forced to take part in some strange historic ritual rather than celebrating the best day of her life.

10. Ready to dance
This happy couple definitely put on their best outfits for this special occasion, and we have to say that the flowers are absolutely stunning. The groom looks sleek and sophisticated in his penguin suit, and the woman looks happy as can be to be standing alongside her husband.

However, this couple wasn’t about to slow dance to their favourite song. It seems as though this woman was preparing for a belly dancing performance, and she wanted to match her wedding dress to the rhythmic number.

11. The many faces
On your wedding day, you have to put on a few different faces. You have to put on a face to show that you’re happy to see your great-aunt. You have to put on a face when you realize nobody appreciates your doughnut wall.

You have to put on a face when you are trying not to cry when saying your vows, and you have to put on another face to show people that you’re not as intoxicated as you really are. We think this wedding dress perfectly encapsulates this. Just kidding, it’s awful.

12. When you get tired of tradition
This couple really wanted to show off their colour and loud personality and busted out every move in the book! Their matching wedding clothes features a rainbow wave over a black base, which made for a daring and unique combination.

While this may or may not be stylish, again they look happy – and that’s all that matters. We hope that they had a great day, full of friends, love and laughter and of course, rainbows in the sky.

13. Going balloony for balloons
We would just love to know the story behind this dress. What made this outwardly sane-looking woman choose to wear a dress made entirely of balloons, and even a balloon necklace?

We question if she can even sit down in it, and she’s definitely got to steer clear of sharp objects, or her entire dress could end up popping around her ankles. Maybe her husband-to-be is a clown and proud of it. After all, they’re the ones who love playing with balloons. It’s just balloony!

14. Girl, be your own man
We wish we had more information about this image. Who is this girl? Is she marrying herself? – we won’t judge! This seems to be a very straight forward rendition of androgynous wedding fashion.

Hats off to the seamstress who had the nerves and the skill to connect both a suit and a wedding gown. This expressive fashion undertaking surely didn’t go unnoticed. Bonus points for the hairstyling and moustache!

15. The mosquito net
Loved-up couples often make their way to another country for their big day, and although some do choose to have their very own winter wonderland, a large portion go to hot destinations to say “I do.”

This woman was obviously going to a country where mosquitoes roam the skies, which is why we can only imagine she chose this wedding dress. With a skirt like that, she definitely won’t have any bite marks on her big day. We can’t say the same for the cutouts on her stomach, though…

16. In touch with your inner child
Our guess is the objective was to look like a barbie or a toy and in our opinion, they achieved it. Whatever her goals may be, it’s clear that she embraced her inner child and went all out.

The colour and cut, make this bride stand out in our list full of albeit strange but white wedding dresses. This outfit does, however, look more like a Halloween costume rather than a wedding dress.

17. That’s a veil?
The dress itself is actually pretty gorgeous, we’ve got to admit, but what in the world is trailing from her head? It’s certainly not the gauzy type of veil we’ve come to expect from blushing brides.

It looks like a cross between an octopus that’s about to envelop and crush her, and some sort of plastic installation that a few creatively-challenged individuals knocked together in the morning. And the orange flowers are a horrible addition, really gaudy.

18. Getting Tipsy Off The Bride
Many gowns on this list are merely for show. This one is very much utilitarian and brilliant, in every sense of the word. The bride was particularly stunning, with a corset dress and a sideways hat to top off a beautiful shade of grey. She must have made her captain very proud with her style. Arr!

This young lady managed to pull off being a wine rack, all while looking absolutely fabulous. If you don’t want to chase the waiter for your tenth glass of chardonnay, just grab one from the bride.

19. Walk the plank with me, landlubber
There is only one rule when it comes to doing pirate-themed weddings – go all out. That’s what these two landlubbers just did and that too, very well. From the props to the clothes, everything is perfect.

The bride was particularly stunning, with a corset dress and a sideways hat to top off a beautiful shade of grey. She must have made her captain and crew – aka groom and guests, very proud of her style.

20. A lifetime worth of pink frills
Many girls think of themselves as fabulous princesses living in a fairy tale world, when they are little girls. For some, this belief stays strong even in adulthood and what better time to make it a reality, then on your wedding day.

This bride didn’t just wear a tiara and a poufy dress, she went all out to the point that it looks like there isn’t enough room for her poor groom. We bet all eyes were on this bride and not for the right reasons.

21. Ferrero ‘till death do us apart
Who doesn’t enjoy a box of Ferrero Rocher for time to time? They are a must-have every holiday season and in every pantry. This couple surely recognized the significance of their favourite candy.

Therefore, they wanted to include it into the wedding, not through the traditional cake but with a candy-filled gown! The bride was definitely one sweet sight to behold, plus we love that the groom dressed as a chef!

22. Is overdoing it too much still overdoing it?
This charming bride wanted to make her special day memorable for everyone. In order to accomplish this, she wanted to have a train long. This seems understandable but her version of “long” is a bit impractical.

Forget a mere foot or two, the bride’s train was so long that it had to be held by nearly half of the guests. Somehow everyone coordinated enough and managed to pull it all off and allowed her to turn her dreams into reality.

23. Easy on the frills there, girl
Let’s be honest, frills can make a good wedding dress an amazing one but they are a double-edged sword which, when handled careless can turn your dress into a disaster and sadly, this an example of the latter.

It seems like this bride didn’t believe that there could be such a thing as “too many frills” but judging by her facial expressions, we are sure she believes it now.  If the dress wasn’t enough, she finished it off with an over the tiara.

24. One for the kids
There are some wedding dresses out there that truly take us by surprise, and this one is top of that list. While it’s always important to incorporate your children into your big day, do you reckon this mom took it one step too far?

We’re all about adding your own little personal touch to your wedding dress, but making it entirely from diapers seems a little excessive. The kids seem to be happy with it, but we’re still a little confused. At least the diapers would help with the sweating.

25. Merging that which can’t be merged
Mixing various styles and silhouettes is fashion 101 but is not an easy thing to pull off. This biker bride wanted to mix classy with casual and chose to wear white shorts and a white gown.

The end result isn’t something you see every day or might even want to see. This couple loves bikes all too much and they wanted to stay true to themselves. We love that the veil was included, too.

26. Something blue
If you want to keep your wedding day traditional, you might follow the rules that you need something borrowed, something new, and something blue. Well, this person definitely filled the blue category. Not everyone can pull off blue ruffles on their wedding day, but the bride wasn’t content with following the crowd.

She didn’t want to wear a normal white dress, and she wasn’t keen on sticking with a normal shape. The result? This rather strange creation that even comes complete with blue extensions. At least she’s consistent.

27. Can you see me?
Where do we start? We have so many questions, we just don’t know where to begin. This wedding dress is definitely an attack on the senses, but we can’t say that we’ll be rushing to place our order. Of course, it has got the main components of a regular wedding dress.

There are a bodice and sleeves, there are a skirt and underskirt, and there’s even a veil and shoes thrown into the mix. It’s just a shame that this dress looks like it’s been ravaged by wolves.

28. Dead animal veil
In the name of all that is holy, what is that thing on this woman’s head? It looks like yards and yards of dead furry animal all joined together and made into an O shape, then stuck to the front of her head. Why? That’s what we really want to know.

If you look closely and try to see the details, you can tell that the rest of her outfit is quite nice, but the head ‘dress’? Several animals had to die to make her look that bad. That would be a definitive ‘No!’ from us.

29. McDonald’s – a greasy wedding
There isn’t a part of our lives that McDonald’s hasn’t infiltrated apart from the fashion industry, until now. We have to admit, we simply love these dresses despite all the criticism.

These three ladies are enjoying a special event, wearing beautiful wrapper-made dresses. Art can take many forms and this is just one of them. While not meant to be worn as wedding dresses, it seems like the perfect option for fans of this fast-food chain.

30. Wearing the American flag
Okay, patriotism is all good and well, but wearing the American flag on your wedding dress is, in our not-so-humble opinion, is going a bit too far. She looks a bit like a sandwich board advertising the US.

The veil’s traditional, but we certainly can’t say the same about her unfortunate dress choice. If you really want to wear the flag, stick to a baseball game or something. She actually makes it look pretty, though, and she looks happy, so good for her.

31. A walking bakery
Looks like this lady and the wine glass-dress girl were in cahoots. We didn’t get the first version and we definitely did not get this one either. There is no other logical explanation for turning your gown into a walking display of doughnuts and cupcakes.

Who knows, maybe she wanted to save money by not hiring waiters for the reception or a table? Either way, we are hoping this dress is a costume rather than a real bride on her special day.

32. Art can manifest itself in many forms
This young couple decided to go all out in the traditional Mexican “Day of the Dead” inspired wedding dress and suit. Not only do we love their stunning face make-up but the accessories, round it off to perfection.

Their clothing was also made from unique materials, Her gown was constructed out of paper plates and forms, while his suit was entirely made out of garbage bags. Strange, but stylish.

33. Chocolate and weddings –the ideal combo
Chocolate Week is a real event that happens every year. It is a place where chocolatiers come to showcase their art and love for, you guessed it, chocolate. Designers, Ian Stuart decided to create something that went even beyond anyone’s expectations.

An impossible idea turned into reality when he created the first edible chocolate gown. The piece features folds upon folds of intricate chocolate work. While very delicate, it is wearable and is marketed as a wedding dress.

34. Bride in the dark
Wedding gowns are works of art more often than not. This designer took this notion to a whole new level by integrating unique and modern aspects into a standard silhouette on this dress.

The design features meticulously drawn beetles, which are not the first thing one imagines when they think wedding dress. The real magic comes thought when the lights are turned off and the entire thing begins to glow-in-the-dark.

35. Aluminium attire
We are sure, this bride gets really good cell reception thanks to her dress. The gown features an aluminium and rhinestone embedded construction and this lady is simply and literally glowing all over the place.

From this picture, we can tell she is on the posh Rodeo Drive and surely had everyone’s jaws all over the floor and heads turned around with this strange but captivating creation. What a unique dress!

36. The wedding blues
Fashion these days allows for many options for wedding gowns. Every style from the 70s to the ultra-contemporary is in vogue. This bride took the rather risky road by doing something outrageous and unheard of.

She didn’t just add “something blue”, instead went all out and had a custom-made gown featuring a depressing shade of blue and silver rhinestones, it’s not sure what this girl wanted to pull off. Hot or not?

37. The orange camouflage wedding dream
Another day and another camouflage dress. We didn’t know this print was such a hit in the world of wedding fashion! This one still looks bizarre to us though and in our opinion, belongs in the jungle and not on the aisle.

This smiling bride wore something many wouldn’t even dare approach. With embedded beads and spots, this camouflage gown may just be the most daring fashion statement ever. It’s the ideal starter kit for every outdoors wedding ceremony.

38. Fusing art and holy matrimony
Who knew, that graffiti would fit effortlessly into the prim and proper world of wedding fashion? This young bride is the perfect example of how to mix your urban personality with traditional design.

This customization makes this wedding dress unique and one, which no one else will be wearing. The bride also went up a step and added the first letters of her and her husband’s name to the design. It’s safe to say the plan worked out perfectly.

39. Team Edward vs. Team Jacob
Brides shouldn’t feel like they can’t step out of their comfort zone and add some pizzazz to their gowns. This lady, however, went a bit too far. She couldn’t decide between Edward and Jacob from Twilight, so she picked both!

We have so many questions. Firstly, why would you pick a Twilight themed wedding gown and that too in jarring colours? Either way, this one is a confusing addition to our list and one we are sure her husband would definitely mind too.

40. Teen Bride & A $235,000 Dress
This young couple really outdid themselves in terms of style. Evka, who is only 19 years old, managed to pull off one of the most extravagant style moves ever. The detailed dress came at a steep, $235,000 and we are not sure if it’s worth it.

With such an outrageous dress, this teen bride made headlines all over the world, with many debating the dress. We just feel bad for the poor parents, who had to pay for this dress. They ought to have invested that money into a house.

41. Adding a little bit of colour to the mix
There is one downside about every great wedding gown, according to some. That problem is the lack of colour. Many people simply don’t like the all-white tradition and find that it doesn’t fit their personality.

This young bride solved that problem by deciding to keep the tradition intact all the while by adding in a pinch of creativity to the mix. The sparkly frills and rhinestones rounded up the design amazingly.

42. The Tumblr bride
This girl is bride goals personified. Her hipster aesthetic is just as enviable as her amazing tattoo sleeve and antlers! Plus, she did the perfect job of balancing out the traditional white dress.

The soft splatter touches of pink around the dress, coordinate with the bride’s pink hair to add a sense of graceful edginess to it all. Soft traditional side-parted hair and romantic make-up, pull the look together.

43. Futurism is everywhere
Someone must have taken a page or two from the book of 1990s extravagant fashion. A mix of fur and sparkly materials is just what this bride was looking for on her special day and she definitely got that.

Not only did the bride go all out with her retro and camp dress but she made her bridesmaids also part of the festivities with matching mini dresses. They seem to be enjoying it all, so there’s nothing to worry about.

44. When camouflage goes all wrong
Rebelling against tradition is a full idea, perfect for those who want to make a statement on their big day. Therefore, every once in a while, we strive to create new trends from old ones.

This process may yield amazing results, but it can also yield real-life disasters. Although this dress could have been both daring and dazzling, the dazzling part is lost due to a bad realization.

45. A walking cake
This bride must have been thinking – Weddings are crowded and it’s going to take a lot of effort to get to the cake If I could only find a way to be closer to the cake… Wait, what if I was the cake?

We are sure this is more of a statement on wedding culture rather than a real proposition of a wedding dress, either way, it is bizarre. Though, her flaming-red hair looks incredible next to the design of her gown.

46. Weird and majestic
Anime has a huge fan following all around the world but their biggest fan seems to be this bride, living in a Portland, Oregon, USA. This girl pulled off the stunning wedding combination masterfully.

With an amazing set of tattoos, the best-dyed hair we have seen and a wild imagination, you get one of the boldest wedding fashion statements ever full of playfulness and creativity.

47. Gown hair, don’t care
It’s not usual to see women wearing something other than a typical white gown, apart from in our list. In this case, we have another majestic exception to the rule. This one is quite an eyeful.

This dress is part fashion, part art and the bride-to-be wearing it looks like she belongs in a high fashion magazine. The strangest part of this dress is that it is made out of actual human hair. Whoa!

48. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s a super bride!
A superhero of a bride needs a superhero groom. We’re sure this stunning, comic book-loving young lady found her super-man. This is another example of brides taking ownership of their wedding dress.

While the bride is wearing a traditional dress, her practical twist of accessories is what makes her stand out.  It is a sexy look, done in an understated way and we are sure she saved the day.

49. Less is more
In our opinions, Tattoos are beautiful and should definitely be showcased on one’s wedding day. This bride did just that when she chose a gown which was cut in all the right places for this exact purpose.

This minimalist dress isn’t traditional or timeless but seems to fit the personality of the bride and showcases her body tattoos. Both classic and unique, hats off to this young lady right here!

50. Corpse bride meets Halloween
Le’s hope this bride didn’t scare away her groom! The full face of skeleton make-up with the conservative historic gown creates an eerie image that is sure to give guests goosebumps.

Just think of all the people around town that saw a ghastly figure gently walking around in a wedding dress with a single rose in her hand, Yikes! Better keep the holy water and cross close to you on your wedding night!

51. Breaking the norm
Although most women wear wedding dresses on their big day, there are other women who seem to be breaking the norm. They don’t want to follow the crowd and wear a dress, because they just might not be dress people.

One woman decided to go against the grain completely and wear a sparkly silver suit. Not only that, but she added tulle decorations and bright pink stilettos into the mix to show off what she was made of. We don’t really want to know what the bicycle helmet was for.

52. A beach wedding
If you choose to get married on the beach, you need to make sure that you’re prepared for the weather. After all, it’s going to be pretty hot! When this woman was planning her wedding dress, she not only wanted to be cool in the warm weather, but she also wanted to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

So, she decided to gather up as many plastic spoons as possible, and forge a giant skirt from them. Although it’s not our cup of tea, at least she can help out the guests when they eat their desserts.

53. Dressed in fur
With more and more people choosing to stray from the norm when it comes to their wedding dresses, this fur-tastic creation probably shouldn’t come as a surprise. Of course, we do have to question the practicality of such a wedding dress.

If she is getting married in a cold country, the fur will be beneficial, but only up until a point. With her legs out and no jacket insight, we have a feeling that this blushing brand might catch a cold.

54. Skull and bones
This woman doesn’t look too happy to be getting married, and this might have something to do with ram skull that’s sitting on her head. It looks as though this is the kind of bibe she’s going for, but we can’t deny that it’s a little strange.

Aside from the animal carcass, her dress is absolutely stunning. With a high neck and beads throughout, she looks like one of the most beautiful (if slightly terrifying) brides we’ve ever seen.

55. Taking a love for animals to the extreme
By now, you have seen a lot of bizarre stuff on this list. You have seen brides and grooms coordinating their outfits or bridesmaids wearing wedding gowns, but what about the bride going who dressed as a sheep?

We are not sure why this happened, does the bride love sheep? Regardless, this young lady surely didn’t have trouble pulling it off. We get that animals are our best friends, but sometimes love can go a bit overboard.

56. Lady in pink
Many people like to add their favourite colour to their wedding, and it seems as though this lady was no different. In an effort to become her very own Pink Lady, she opted for this wild ensemble that really does hit you from all angles.

First, you’re drawn to the giant fishtail train that looks more like a UFO than a train, and then you make your way to the extravagant hat. Of course, you then have to finish with a little peek at the bow and all that glitter.

57. A Little Too Festive
Christmas is coming early this year and this dress is the best way to notify people of it. A Christmas tree-turned wedding gown might be an ideal choice for those wanting to have a winter wedding.

This one is more like a Christmas tree rather than a wedding dress, full of ornaments. Our guess is the bride had planned on using the dress as her first Christmas tree after she was done wearing it.

58. All caught up
Every wedding dress should tell a story, but it seems as though this wedding dress just doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going. It’s all party in the top half of the dress, but the bottom half is just begging to be tripped over.

Although we’re sure there are some people out there who would wear this, we’re just a little concerned that it may be a hazard. Yes, not only is it a fire hazard, but it’s also a health and safety hazard. We’d fall flat on our faces.

59. Colours of the rainbow
Your wedding day is the biggest day of your life, which means that you get to be the centre of attention. One of the best ways to do this is to embrace all of the colours of the rainbow, and that’s exactly what this woman has done.

From the bedazzled bodice to the multi-coloured ruffles on the bottom, there’s no doubt about the fact that people would spot the bride from a mile off. She knows it too because she’s totally feeling herself.

60. Can I have a hand?
From afar, this probably just looks like a strange wedding dress made from feathers or strips of material. However, the more you look, the more you realize that it’s even weirder than you could ever imagine.

This wedding dress is actually made from thousands of rubber gloves because nothing else screams married life like a load of rubber gloves. Let’s hope this bride refuses to do the dishes ever again after wearing this. Just imagine how hot it must have been! We’ll pass on this one, thanks.

61. Making a mess
While we don’t quite know what happened in this scenario, we are a little surprised to see this woman covered in blue paint. Last we heard, blue paint isn’t exactly a winning accessory on your big day.

Of course, she doesn’t look too upset about it, so it can’t be all bad. Perhaps she decided to embrace the “something blue” of traditional weddings and really roll with it. At least she’s by the ocean if she needs a little wash before the ceremony.

62. Frills for days
This girl didn’t want to compromise on classic tradition, but still wanted a flash of something new and exciting. That flash came in the form of a beautiful, multi-layered frill system.

The front features a basic pattern but the back is stacked with all sorts of colours in a haphazard way. And above all else, she looks and seems happy that her design finally came to life.

63. An autumn setup
Autumnal nature weddings are great, who doesn’t want pictures with that gorgouse foilage?  If the weather serves you, you can enjoy a spectacular ceremony around all the different shades of red, orange and green.

This bride didn’t want to be overshone by nature and decided to dress in matching oranges. Although, her variations are bright, bold and nothing you would ever see in the great outdoors.

64. Sports give birth to something special
The only explanation for this dress is that Karen, the bride must be a big fan of Manchester City. Rather than save her love for the football field, she wanted to include her beloved club into her wedding ceremony.

The dress was custom-made and used all the game shirts she owned. In fact, she constructed it herself by meticulously sewing each shirt together to make this masterpiece. The result is simply stunning!

65. Cat woman…sort of
Hello Kitty fans will know that it isn’t just a cartoon but it’s a way of life for some people and this lovely lady proves all that with her wedding dress. She embodies what Hello Kitty fandom is all about.

We love that she kept everything simple and added just a pinch of the kitten on her white dress. This insured that looked stunning, stylish and wedding-appropriate rather than venturing into the dreaded costume territory.

66. Star-spangled bride
Patriotism is a great feeling that pulls people closer together. It can be a tool that promotes stronger bonds and tradition. This young lady deemed it important enough to be a part of her wedding gown.

Although unorthodox, this design just may work for those who want to stand out on their wedding day while also showing off their personality. This one has to be one of the better versions of the U.S.A’s flag with its A-Line train and strapless bodice.

67. A bride with some additional air
Balloons are an essential part of every birthday party or celebration. Even weddings can be equipped with them, in moderate quantities. Of course, this bride doesn’t do moderate since she made her way on our list.

The bride decided to wear an entire gown constructed of ballons, complete with a shoulder feature that was meant to steal the show. We just hope, she doesn’t wander around any sharp objects to literally burst her bubble.

68. Is there such a thing as too much?
This gold and the white feathery ensemble is right out of a fairytale. The bride appears to be forcing a smile as she’s dwarfed by an oversized circular confection of fluffiness and ornate gold rising high above her head from her shoulders.

Intricate feather schemes, sequins in every direction and strange fabric patterns – there are just some details of this wedding gown masterpiece. The fairytale look is complete with what seems to be a wand in the bride’s hand.

69. From rags to…?
The angle of the picture makes them look as if they’re falling off the edge of the world, but that’s not the strangest thing about it. Actually, the bridegroom’s just realized he’s marrying someone dressed entirely in rags. Look at all those bits and pieces!

We’re all in favour of a bit of Bohemian now and then, but this is taking things way too far. Has she spent her whole life collecting these rags so that she can have her wedding dress made of them?

70. More balloons?!
Okay, what’s going on with this balloon wedding dress thing? This is the second one, and we’re starting to wonder if a really peculiar trend is building. Why would anyone want a wedding dress made out of balloons, especially a very ‘racy’ red, with a great big slit up the front?

Not only does the fabric throw tradition out the of the window but the design adds to it even further. We’d like to see her sit down after wearing those skyscraper heels, but we don’t think the dress would allow it.

71. All about the wig
Let’s be honest; this wedding dress isn’t that bad. We’ve definitely seen worse. Yet, it’s the giant accessory that really pulls it together into one weird and wonderful creation. We do feel a little sorry for this model if that is her real hair because de-tangling that birds nest must have been a nightmare.

We assume this isn’t the model real hair, so then we have to wonder why they would choose such a wig. Is it to distract from the ruffles? Is it to distract from the weird crease in the middle of the dress?

72. Good old’ country girl
This bride clearly didn’t learn anything from the Duchess of Sussex’s ultra-minimal wedding dress. It is reputed to have had six cleverly-hidden seams that made her appear to float down the aisle, a picture of style and grace.

No, this bride clearly likes things as busy as possible, what with all the frills and flounces, those ‘bridal’ cowboy boots, and the fussy flower arrangement. What we love best, though, is the quaint little parasol and stage set for the picture. Very retro.

73. Starry, starry nights
This dress is actually pretty cool. We love fairy lights, but maybe having them, switched on, so close to your ‘delicate’ bits is playing with fire, so to speak. I mean, they look all festive and that, but what if there’s an electrical short?

They happen, you know. The dress and the poor bride might melt into a puddle on what’s meant to be the happiest day of your life. An A for the idea, but an F for failure to observe safety precautions.

74. Some kind of dwarf is it
This strapless wedding gown looks fine until you get down past the bride’s waist and can’t quite believe what you’re seeing. How on earth is she managing to move her knees with that tight band around the fabric?

Put your hand over the bottom third of the photo, and she looks like a bride, but take it away, and you can’t help wondering if there’s a dwarf concealed in the bottom poof doing the walking for her.

75. As quirky as it can be
If it wasn’t for the face paint and the bouquet, this would look like two rather ordinary people dressed up for an event. However, this couple decided to embrace their quirkiness and celebrate their love in a unique way.

She chose to wear orange and white tiger face paint while he chose to be a panda. One wonders what this choice suggests about their relationship. She was probably the one that decided this was a good idea.

76. Halloween dreams
This Halloween bride and groom don’t quite pull off their apocalyptic vision, especially with a backdrop of the beautiful blue sea behind them. He manages to do evil quite well with his fuzzy little orange beard, evil, skeletal smile, dark eyes and debonair suit.

She looks like a hot mess rather than a frightening apparition. Her eyes are more scary panda than spooky, and she can’t quite manage skeletal in that white dress showing her curves.

77. Fairy tale wedding
Many girls say that they want a wedding straight out of a fairy tale. This girl right here took this saying a bit too seriously and decided to one-up every wedding in human history. Just look at this picture!

Her classic off the shoulder gown is finished with wings, yes wings. While fitting perfectly with the theme, their wingspan might have made for an awkward dance partner. Although, her prince charming looks impressed.

78. An avian attire
Another bride, who rather than getting inspired by fashion took her wedding notes from White swans, instead. They are a symbol of elegance and pizzazz but we are not sure how timeless ruffles “wings” look.

Our opinion aside, this young lady looks pretty as a picture, no matter what her dress looked like. Her styling is near perfection and the switch from heels to knee-high boots is spectacular.

79. Mixing culture
This women from East Asia wanted to add a pinch of her own culture into her magical day. With a beautiful headpiece and fabric strips, she represents her tradition with honour and pride.

Compared to modern-day wedding trends, this one is both quirky and stylish. We particularly love that the bride showcased her roots, in a way that still allowed her to show off her personality. A big thumbs up to this stunning lady.

80. Honey, could you get us some tacos?
Everyone loves Taco Bell but nobody like the chain restaurant like Diane Nguyen, who wanted to honour Taco Bell on her wedding. She said that Taco Bell has always been there for her – late meals after work or during study sessions, after party woes and lunches.

So, what does a huge fan of Taco Bell do? Naturally, they make a customized wedding dress out of taco bell wrappers. To construct it, she had to make several trips to the guilty pleasure restaurant to collect wrappers, must have been really hard!

81. Birdy, birdy
Feathers have made a comeback in recent years, with many high-end designers using them to add drama and depth to a design.  The key to working with feathers is subtly but this bride and her wedding dress designer didn’t seem to get the memo.

This dress looks fit to be on an off-broadway show rather than an elegant and timeless design. We particularly do not understand the placement of the red feathers and why the bride decided to wear mesh gloves and an umbrella?

82. Cards are the theme
Quirky weddings are amazing. This bride executed it perfectly when she managed to sneak card symbols into her wedding gown. With spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds – her pink gown is all set for the ultimate poker showdown.

She even has a respectable poker face. Not bad at all! Jokes aside, this is the perfect example of how you can wear unconventional wedding dresses without it looking like a costume.

83. You can wipe your butt with that wedding gown
At first glance, these dresses look like modern 3d designs who while albeit a bit extra extravagant aren’t much to talk about. That is because the real talking point is that all these dresses are made entirely out of toilet paper.

We have to admit, the unconventional material is incredibly stunning and we had no idea that you could manoeuvre toilet paper, of all things, in such intricate designs.  What did the groom weather though? A suit made out of a plunger?

84. Frills, frills, and more frills
When it comes to choosing the perfect wedding dress, you need to decide what works for you. Do you prefer a more fitted shape? Or do you want something that’s really going to pop? Well, this woman certainly pops.

Not only is she rocking the fishtail look, but it seems as though she also wanted to turn her whole dress into a fish. After all, don’t you think that all of the frills look like the scales of an underwater creature? Just keep swimming, lady.
