Every girl dreams of her wedding day, and especially of her wedding dress. Sometimes it even seems as if the dress and the bride’s looks are the center of attention.

While some brides imagine themselves in a white classy dress, others envision themselves in a chic and trendy ensemble, but there are others who go for something completely different.

01. Power Puffy Girl
“Choose pink to make the boys wink,” as this girl seemed to believe when it came to her wedding day. As she went on with her maxim and effectively making guys wink, she did not know she was already blinding the most important one in her wedding by having her huge dress cover the face of her husband. This bride snatched all the eyes as she achieved the princess look in her puffy pink dress.

However, she felt that her dress still was not enough; she wore a diamond crown on her head and had a sparkly wand in her hand, catching people’s attention. All of those summed up, their idea of a horse and carriage was reasonably not the best.

02. Twilight Event
As every single wedding ties a bride to a groom, this wedding was different, for this bride has three men in sight. She may be walking down the aisle to her groom, but her dress advertises two other men, Edward and Jacob, the lead characters from the movie franchise Twilight.

It is true that a wedding day is a time to prove a person’s love to their significant other, to express the desire of spending life with the other and that there is no other man to be in love with than the one in front of you. While this bride is doing the exact same thing, she is doing so with extra baggage of characters she fantasizes about.

03. As Long As You Love Me
This is not for a shampoo ad, but for the next bride’s train with which six bridesmaids cannot suffice to help her with it, and it can be clearly seen on the picture why. “Go big, or go home,” as this bride believes so, she aimed to have the longest train to complete her over-the-top wedding dress.

Princess Diana was acknowledged to have a royally long wedding train in her own wedding, but this bride went on to take the extra mile with hers, literally. Not only did they get to cover a longer distance, but they also had more people be a part of their big day.

04. No Space For Mistakes
A bride has already so much to worry about on her wedding day, hopefully wishing that her big day would go perfectly and smoothly. Even with as much help as she could get, there could still be things out of their control. This bride had waited for this her whole life and all her preparations are already in place; no space for mistakes.

She successfully managed to get her hair and make-up done and reach the church without troubles. However, she was not able to reach the altar as smoothly as planned. This man ruined it all, for some reason, as he thoughtlessly walked down the aisle and stepped on the bride’s dress.

05. All About Cake
Cakes were one of the most essential features of any celebration, especially in weddings. But those may have been a thing of the past and are often overlooked these days. This particular bride does not think so. As a matter of fact, she believes that the cake should be the highlight of the event. To prove her point for everyone to see, she wore a white cake.

This bride wore a white cake for her wedding to prove that her dress was so good, you could eat it. And that was exactly what she and her guests did – they ate her cake of a dress. She did not only save time and money, she also kept her guests satisfied.

06. Not Just Something Blue
This bride wanted her “something new” to be mixed with “something blue,” but she might have went a little overboard. In fact, she took her “something blue” to a whole new level by actually having it as the color of her wedding dress. The white gowns that surrounded her in the bridal store did not satisfy her.

She went for the cobalt blue dress with silver rhinestones and a matching veil which immediately caught her eye. Thinking it was time to mix things up, she had her “something blue” completely incorporated with her “something new.” However, her veil was not to be taken as “something borrowed.”

07. Creativity Is Key
Being busy as an art student was not a hindrance to Michelle’s wedding. In fact, she turned her very active creative juices in the direction of her marriage. Michelle put her own idea of a perfect wedding dress into reality as she designed her own wedding gown. She used street art as theme for her final project and has decided to stick with it as the same theme for her gown.

Michelle used the first letters of her name, “M” and her husband-to-be, “H” for Harry, and put it in as she transformed her traditional white gown into her own masterpiece.

08. She Feline Love
Hello Kitty, in its small pink cat form, had won the hearts of countless fans ever since it was created. It was so widespread that its fan merchandise had covered a variety of items for sale, that it even has a themed wedding dress on the list. This bride is no ordinary fan. Having this cat cartoon character as a major part of her life, she wanted to make sure that it was part of her wedding, too.

Featuring Hello Kitty-designed balloons in the background is not enough. The traditional white gown itself was sporting the look of the feline, and even the bouquet is in pink to match the overall theme.

09. Pride Bride
This bride did not only take her patriotism to heart, she even wore and embodied it on her wedding day. Her wedding might as well have taken place on the 4th of July, seeing how serious she was with her love for the country. Dressed in her red, white and blue wedding gown, this bride was patriotism personified.

As she walked down the aisle towards her groom, she radiates the glow of a true American. The traditional white was not lost in her gown of blue and red, but the color she chose for her bridesmaids to wear is another story.

10. Ferrero Lover
Weddings are primarily about love that is why most weddings’ theme revolves around love itself, or at least as how many couples choosing to go with it. This specific couple, however, wanted to show off how sweet their love is and went as far as to wear it on their selves. In hopes that it would bring them luck in their future of togetherness, this couple chose to go for the sweet treats.

To go with the theme, the bride’s gown was composed of Rafaello chocolates instead of going for a traditional white wedding dress. The groom, on the other hand, also showed his love for food by being in a chef outfit, but still stuck with the white.

11. All The Right Curves
The wedding event itself is not the only thing most brides are planning and preparing for. Of course, they wanted to look good in their gowns that some even resort to strict diet and exercise. While some brides want to accentuate their body shape or focus mainly on the design of the dress, others aim to show off their lovely curves.

However, this bride might have had something different in mind. As to why the blooming flowers were this bride’s final choice, it is good to hope that their marriages are just as blooming of a romance. The audience’s attention will surely be grabbed from the bride herself due to her choice of dress.

12. Mama June, Here We Go Again
As a TV personality, Mama June was widely known to never have had done things in an ordinary fashion. Even with her wedding to sugar bear or her fashion choices, her manner of living is no different. That is why as much as it was different, her camouflage dress head-to-toe accompanied with orange accents was not that much of a surprise.

Her husband-to-be did not escape her inclinations as his outfit was matched to hers. Also going along with the theme, her daughter was in a neon orange and bright pink frilly dress. While Mama June was notable on her own, Honey Boo Boo was impossible to miss too as she served as the flower girl.

13. Lady Marmalade
Feather boas are often used as a fashion statement, most traditionally during a cabaret show. But this bride ignored that norm, opting for a rather off choice and used feather boas in the entirety of her wedding attire. While the style of her dress is one thing, the choice of color and accessories are another.

She even had a feathered umbrella to complete her look of white and red dress, black and white gloves and red feather boas. The exact reason behind her decisions might be vague as can be, but seeing how happy the bride looks is most certainly what matters most.

14. Man and Matey
This couple took the pirate life to heart and made it as their wedding’s theme. Dressed in her corset dress, sideways hat, and black and gold boots, the bride had all eyes in the deck on her. Her man did not back down and flared his own outfit with a sword, a cape and boots to complete the look. It seems that a seaside wedding won’t be ideal for them.

Throughout the event, rum was served instead of traditional wine. Of course, the theme is not just for the eyes. It went full swing as the bride uttered the words “Ahoy, Captain!” as she finished her vows for her newlywed husband.

15. Once in a Lifetime
Matrimony is not just the state of being married; it is a time for celebrating the official union between two people of significance to each other and to cherish their magical moment together with their friends and family. Just as any bride hopes to have one wedding for the rest of their lives, this particular bride went all out.

This bride was serious in having her marriage “one time only.” Her idea of putting this concept into existence is by dressing up in a gown made of disposable spoons, plates and cups, which have the same approach of one-time use. She thought it was a good representation for her wedding day, and her groom was just as willing to go along with the theme.

16. Today Was a Fairytale
Brides-to-be often see weddings as fairytales waiting to come true; the thought of marrying their knights in shining armor and the dreams of having that fairytale ending with a happily ever after automatically comes along with it. And there is this one bride who not only dreamt of all of it; she turned it into reality, literally.

Her traditional white gown had wings attached to it. Her husband, on the other hand, wore a cape on his shoulders just like Prince Charming coming to whisk her off her feet. Their wedding attires alone indicate that they are truly a match made in heaven.

17. Rainbow Is the Color of Love
Rainbow is the color of love, or at least as this couple thinks so. This couple might have come across to have just re-watched Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and immediately thought of it as a great idea. Anyway, they completely neglected the everlasting trend of white in weddings in terms of attire.

These two made their wedding attires all about black and bright colors, definitely giving Joseph a run for his money. Theirs might not be on the top of everyone’s list of choices, but if it works just as fine for them, then no one could ever complain to ruin it for them.

18. Cupcakes for All
With the decline of the fame of cakes in weddings came the rising trend of cupcakes. And this bride did not only favor the craze, she even took it to the extremes. She knew and expected that everyone would come and ask for a picture with her, and so she came up with a bright idea.

After coming and getting their shot, this bride wanted to offer each and every one of them a cupcake. This could also stand as a metaphor for the sweet union that she just shared and will keep on sharing with her new husband. Not wanting to go against the white theme, she had them topped with white frosting.

19. As Green As Can Be
The true love story of Shrek and Fiona is as remarkable as can be. Living in Far Far Away with their own fairytale dream, their love inspired many people, and among them is this couple. They can never forget Shrek and Fiona’s story and how it encouraged them to achieve their real-life fairytale.

In the movie, Fiona tried to hide her ogre form. But this bride proudly wore her face paint and outfit as she married her very own Shrek. Seeing their overall appearance and the venue in which they are standing, it would not be a surprise of the film franchise was their wedding’s theme throughout.

20. Most Loyal Fan Award
If there are standards and rewards for all kinds of fans, this bride might have snagged them all. There are kinds of soccer fans who live-eat-breathe-repeat their respective soccer teams, and Karen Bell just proved to be one of them, if not the top. Even on her wedding day, she did not fail to show her eternal love for the Manchester City FC.

Her fandom did not only show on her wedding dress; the blue and white theme, soccer memorabilia around the room and soccer player names as table labels took the wedding event in its full swing. She said that it was a labor of love as she claims that “we wanted to do something different because we have both been married before.”

21. Quirks And All
With this being her second wedding, the bride went all out, adhering to the thought “the quirkier the better.” She might have followed every single wedding norm in her first, and now that she was given a second chance, she wanted to have it her way. The bride abstained from the traditional white and went for gold for her curtain-like dress.

Her bridesmaids’ dresses did not fall too far from the tree. There was no particular given color, but it seems like they did not leave a single color from the rainbow behind. This bride wanted to go all out on her wedding, and so she did.

22. $235,000 on the Dress
This bride did not have a simple wedding in mind. In fact, she even went on and spent $235,000 on her wedding gown alone. Evka was 19 and Lukas was 20 when they got married. Their wedding’s footage made their wedding go viral as the bride’s extravagant dress was shown to the public. The fact that the teenage bride, despite her young age, was wearing a $235,000 dress for the occasion came as a huge shock to everyone.

During the ceremony, Evka and Lucas came hand in hand as they count the money being thrown at them by their guests. It would not be as surprising as the price of her wedding gown if they made more money than most people do daily.

23. Wedding Gala
As white as the color of her gown may be, this bride’s dress is still far from the norms. It can even be a part of a carnival in Rio more than it is attire for a wedding. But as extravagant as it may look, this dress might as well be on the top of the list. The multicolored sequins, multiple layers of fabric and variously shaped feathers completed the over-the-top look.

This bride would never get unnoticed by anyone, but the burden that her beauty weighs is no joke either. It is a wonder how she could walk down the aisle without being toppled over and how she could remain standing straight like she did in this picture.

24. Bikers’ Fair
For as long as anyone can remember, the color white has been engraved on the whole concept of wedding. Brides usually envision themselves in white on their wedding days, for this same reason. But then not all brides are alike, and when something had been a part of them deeply, they want to show it off in their big day, too.

This biker chick of a bride did exactly that when she decided to stay true to herself on her wedding day. Nonetheless, dressed in white she did, complete with the customary veil and her husband in a bow tie. He, too, stuck to his biker chick self by keeping his leather vest open.

25. The Devil Wears Wedding Attire
While this bride willingly adhered to the norms of a white wedding dress, she added in a twist of her own. There are other brides who have mixed in their own interests on their own wedding gowns, such as food, colors and style. However, as much as this bride had had her own choices, it was still as different as the ones before her.

It is not often that a bride wearing devil horns will be seen walking down the aisle, so this might as well be the first, if not the last. Her choice of demonic devil horns might be quirky in nature but is just as debatable. A wild guess might be that she is just giving her groom a hint on what has befallen him.

26. A Swan’s Love
Swans have this reputation that their love for their respective partners is so deep that they mate for life. This might be in the mind of this bride when she chose her wedding gown. However, there could still be confusion on her true intentions, whether she was just playing dress up as an angel or really aiming for the swan look for her make-up and tiara is seemingly trying to depict a different story.

Relatively seductive, her dress has a wide slit on the front, feather wings sprout from the back, and cuts at the bottom, paired with knee-high white boots. But if in comparison to the rest on the list, this one is still on the low-key dresses range.

27. It Takes Two to Taco
“It has been there for me through the years, from the after-school runs to late meals after work or a night of partying. Taco bell is always there for me,” this bride said as she expressed her love for Taco Bell. And as true as Taco Bell’s being there for her can be, it was also there for her in her big day as her wedding gown itself.

Some people speak their love for tacos, but this bride embodied her feelings by wearing it on her wedding day. Her husband has seen what she was up against, but has apparently shared the same interests as he actually agreed to be paired with such.

28. Off The Wall
The ever famous “something blue” shows up once again. This time, it is not just on the bride, but in the matching outfit of the groom, too. They even want as far as extending the “something blue” factor on their families’ attires as seen on the photo with the guests standing up with them on the podium.

The word “Wifey” was spray-painted on the bride’s dress, while the groom and their closest family members all have something sprayed on their outfits, too. Graffiti may not have been on many brides’ concept list, but it was this particular couple’s own way of declaring their love to one another, in front of the world.

29. Queen of Queens
One of life’s many gambles is choosing a person to spend the rest of your life with. With either this in mind, or the bride’s addiction to cards, she handpicked a unique wedding gown that would fit her beliefs or interests. Committing to a relationship is no small thing and marrying that same person can escalate quickly to a gamble of a lifetime.

Her dress is in different shades of pink with the four suits of hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds and she had a miniature top hat embellished with a feather and more cards. Many brides dream of that one unforgettable wedding, and this dress us something that is not easy to forget.

30. Love Dearly
Adding a majestic feel to their wedding is almost every single bride-to-be’s wish and with that said, getting married in a forest is what comes to mind. This one bride wanted to make that wish come true and took a step closer by dressing like a woodland creature that is certainly different from the rest.

While she is sporting deer antlers and a flower crown on her head, her bold pink hair made her stand out even more. This bride can easily be identified on her wedding day for though she stuck to the traditional white gown, she also added a splash of pink to go along with her hair and the tattoos on her arm.
