You don’t have to be American or even watch American Football to know that the Super Bowl is quite a big deal. Hosted on the first Sunday of February, it is the championship game of the National Football League.

But it’s not only sports aficionado who wait anxiously for the game, for many the lure of Super Bowl Sundays is watching the impressive half-time artists. From Beyonce To Paul Maccartney, every notable artist has made their appearance on the Super Bowl stage but which one had the biggest net worth? Well, we find out.
The Rolling Stones – $1.4 Billion
You don’t need to watch the Super Bowl Halftime religiously to know who The Rolling Stones are. The legendry band has to wow audiences since its formation in 1962 and created a whole new genre of rock music that was influenced by gritty pop.

During their Super Bowl Halftime performance in 2006. The band played three songs, opening with “Start Me Up” “Rough Justice” and finishing with “Satisfaction.” during their 12-minute set. This performance alone, increased the band’s music sales by 9%, not that they needed any help since they have a net worth of $1.4 billion.
Paul McCartney – $1.2 Billion
Right after, The Rolling Stones moved the Super Bowl Halftime show, Paul McCartney followed their steps. He played a diverse set that included tracks from his days with The Beatles and Wings and ended the performance with the well-loved, “Hey Jude.”

P.Diddy – $885 Million
P. Diddy performed at the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show and was part of one of the last performances sponsored by MTV. He was part of a star-studded setlist with Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Nelly and more.

Sadly, due to Janet Jackson’s unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, this was the last time MTV was allowed to host the NFL half-time. Since his performance, the rapper has diversified his portfolio and has moved away from music to become a successful fashion designer and actor. His estimated net worth is $885 million.
Madonna – $850 Million
While artists do not get paid for their half-time performances, all the costs associated with the show are incurred by the NFL and Madonna made sure no expense was spared for her 2012 show. To put it in perspective, the pop icon came out in a chariot surrounded by a parade of marching Roman warriors.

And that was just the start, during the performance she transformed from a princess into a cheerleader, and finally into a choirmaster with each of her costume more elaborate and impressive than the last. To be honest, we expect nothing else from Madonna herself, who has created a career worth $850 Million thanks to her ability to perform.
Aerosmith – $530 Million
Aerosmith was part of the dramatic half time show from 2001, an extravaganza featuring a bevvy of popular artists, NSYNC, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly to name a few. They ended the set by playing “Jaded,” from their upcoming album.

Having spent fifty years in the music industry, the band has well and truly earned its $530 million net worth. Aerosmith also holds the title of being the best-selling American hard rock band of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide.
Beyonce – $500 Million
Beyonce brought out Sasha Fierce, her alter ego to the 2013 Superbowl Halftime show as the 49ers and Ravens relaxed in the locker room. The performer packed pyrotechnics, sensational vocals and nine hits into her 14-minute set, even managing a reunion with Destiny’s Child.

Beyonce’s popularity only increased after the hit performance and helped grow her estimated $500 million. She returned three years later and performed with Bruno Mars and Christ Martin of Coldplay.
Bruce Springsteen – $500 Million
Bruce Springsteen started his half time performance by declaring, “Ladies and gentlemen, for the next 12 minutes, we’re going to bring the righteous and mighty power of The E Street Band into your beautiful home!” and he delivered.

Estimated to be worth $500 million, having sold 150 million records worldwide. Apart from his work in the music industry, he ranked 23rd on Rolling Stone’s list of the Greatest Artists of All Time, the singer also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2016.
Gloria Estefan – $500 Million
Like a few others on our list, Gloria Estefan has also performed the Super Bowl Halftime show twice. She is not only a Hollywood star but a global one. Her first performance was in 1992, and she was asked to return in 1999 for a much-belated encore.

Estefan continues to perform today and at 62, released another album “Brazil305” in 2020. She is worth a reported $500 million and it is well deserved since the singer has created many chart-topping and record-breaking hits “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You”, “1-2-3” and “Don’t Wanna Lose You” to name a few.
Coldplay – $430 Million
Coldplay has been the band of choice for angsty-teens since the release of their hit track “Yellow” in 2000. By the time they got the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl in 2016, they had six successful albums full of equally hit songs.

Ever since her start in the 1997 Selena, Lopez established herself as someone to look out for when her film became the first Latin movie to gross over $1 million at the time. Her career only bloomed from there with the actress/singer showcasing her many skills.

Worth an estimated $400 million, Lopez wowed the audience during her 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show. She performed a mix of her greatest hits including “Jenny from the Block” and “Ain’t it Funny” and ended it with a surprise appearance from another mega-hit popstar, Shakira.
Shania Twain – $400 Million
It looks like performing on the Super Bowl halftime stage isn’t just prestige but also helps elevate sales and fame. In 2003, Shania Twain experienced all that when she performed “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” and “Up!” Both tracks were off her just-released album, which saw sales increases of 41%.
