40. Sheila saved from the fire thanks to her dog Nyla
We are not going to explain to you again how dogs have an ultra-developed sense of smell compared to ours, nor even that these faculties allow them to be able to sense certain things that we cannot perceive. But on that day, if Nyla had not intervened, her mistress would probably have died in that fire. Sheila, completely blinded by the smoke and flames, was unable to cope on her own. Her dog then guided her to the exit. How? By moving and barking every time Sheila took the wrong direction.
Once the young mistress finally finds her way out, her house is nothing more than a pile of fires.
