In the nostalgic era of the ’60s and ’70s, a boy saying “I’ll call you tomorrow” at the end of a date usually meant he would. But even in those times, the now-common act of “ghosting” was not unheard of, sometimes leaving hopeful hearts disappointed.
Yet, this fairy tale had its share of unanswered questions. After their high school date, Rick unexpectedly ceased all communication, leaving Karen puzzled and waiting for a call that never came.
