Our six explorers
In the year 2019, an adventurous group of six individuals set their sights on an exploration of vast significance. The destination? Southern New Mexico, which harbors the magnificent Carlsbad Caverns. The team, composed of Max Wisshak, Shawn Thomas, Hazel Barton, Beth Cortright, Andy Armstrong, and James Hunter, meticulously crafted their journey’s blueprint.
They sought the blessings of the Carlsbad Caverns National Park’s Cave Resources Office, which, recognizing the potential of their expedition, granted them permission. And so, with the green light given, the epic exploration was set in motion.
