Since he was a child, Tommy was aware of his surroundings, particularly the comings and goings of his parents. Recently, however, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong when he noticed the void that his father’s absence was leaving in his little family. Regular family dinners, once a cherished tradition, were becoming increasingly rare. His father’s seat at the table was empty most of the time, leaving Tommy and his mother alone to share meals in increasingly uncomfortable silence.
