The first one is the Gala

This well-known apple variety, which is readily available all year long, is a hybrid of Kidd’s Orange Red and Golden Delicious varieties. It’s the ultimate lunch box staple, with a pear-like quality, but can also be cooked down into a compote. Use for baking, sauces, and snacking.

The second one is Baldwin

The Baldwin was one of the most well-liked apples in America until a freeze killed off the majority of its trees in 1934. This specific apple variety has recently become more popular and tastes great cooked into a crisp. The first mouthful is sweet with a smidge of spiciness.

The third one is Granny

Story: Maria Ann Smith—or “Granny,” as she was called—discovered the seedling for this apple growing in her Australian compost pile. The tart flavor lends itself to baked apple recipes. It is incredibly tart, has high in acid, and has a subtle sweetness.

The fourth one is fuji

The Fuji was bred in Japan, even though its parents, Ralls Janet and Delicious, are Americans. This kind is one of the sweetest available due to its greater sugar content. They also work well to give salads a hint of sweetness. Fujis are best eaten raw since they are too juicy to bake. They have a crisp, sweet, and energizing flavor.
