San Francisco Bay’s Red Triangle
The place is so dangerous that it has a record of 38% of all recorded great white shark attacks on humans, this place is called the “Red Triangle”. Located in Northern California, San Francisco Bay’s “Red Triangle” is comparatively a small triangular region.

The reason why the attacks are so high is that sharks are drawn to a large population of marine animals such as elephant seals, harbor seals, sea otters, and sea lions. This place is swarming with marine mammals thus attracting the sharks. Sharks often mistake humans as marine animals as humans look like a seal above the water.
