It is pretty normal to make promises to someone all the time, but not everyone keeps true to their word and always breaks the promises they made, no matter how they swear not to break them. However, Thomas Cook from Wisconsin was not the typical friend who breaks promises.

Thomas Cook eventually made a bet with his friend that if ever one of them would win the lottery, they would share the big prize. The question is, would he really make good on the promise he made with his friend way back 30 years ago? Or will he concede to the temptation and keep all the winnings for himself?
