Bo Burnham’s ‘Inside (The Songs)’ has become ineligible for the Best Comedy Album award of Grammy. The album was released to accompany the musician, actor, director, and comedian’s Netflix special, ‘Inside’

It is heard that ‘Inside (The Songs)’ does not meet the criteria to compete in the category for Best Comedy Album. So, now it becomes ineligible for the 64th annual Grammy Awards. It was thought that the album will compete for Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media. Last year, the soundtrack for Jojo Rabbit won in the same category.

Burnham’s label Republic reportedly also submitted ‘Inside (The Songs)’ for Album Of The Year, and ‘All Eyes On Me’ for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Song Written For Visual Media. “Inside” was also submitted for Best Music Film.

‘Inside (The Songs)’ placed at Number One on the US comedy chart. At the time of its release, it peaked at Number Seven on the Billboard 200. The track named ‘All Eyes On Me’ became the first comedy song that appear on Billboard‘s global charts.
