We all know dress codes are in place for people to wear appropriate clothes. For instance, we know that it is inappropriate to show up at a wedding wearing a white dress if you are not the bride. Or that you should never wear casual clothes in a black-tie event. When it comes to school dress codes, it is always complicated – especially when there is no uniform to impose.
