Recently CDC has added 7 new travel destinations as ‘very high’ Covid-19 risk list. Puerto Rico and Switzerland are also included in this list. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regularly update the travel advisories list.
CDC included Switzerland and Puerto Rico among the highest-risk destinations for travelers. They are suggesting that people need to avoid traveling to locations designated with the “Level 4: Covid-19 Very High” category. The organization recommends who must have to travel these destinations should be fully vaccinated first.
Seven destinations have moved up from the “Level 3 -Covid-19 High” to Level 4. The other destinations are Azerbaijan, Estonia, Guam, North Macedonia, and Saint Lucia.
The CDC’s evolving list of travel destinations ranges from Level 1 (“low”) to Level 4 (“very high”). The Level 4 category indicates that these places have had more than 500 cases per 100,000 residents in the past 28 days.
