The Grammy-nominated singer said, “We can kiss who we want / We can screw who we want.” At 28 years old singer has proved she’s one of the world’s most powerful LGBTQ+ activists. She is using her foundation and lyrics to advocate for equality and acceptance of LGBTQ+ society.
The Hannah Montana star will celebrate Pride Month by performing hit songs from The Pretenders, George Michael, ABBA, and more. Miley wrote on Twitter, “I’ve got a lot of guests. A lot of #Pride. AND A LOT OF WARDROBE CHANGES.”
Five years ago, Miley came out as pansexual and since then she has been working for equal rights for the queer community. She founded the Happy Hippie Foundation in 2014. The foundation encourages young people to fight against injustices.
