Emma Watson warned her fans not to trust rumors regarding changes to her career and her relationship status with her boyfriend, Leo Robinton. She said, “If I have news, I promise I’ll share.”
The actress put to rest all the recent gossip with a series of tweets. The Little Women star wrote, “Rumours about whether I’m engaged or not, or whether my career is ‘dormant or not’ are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue.”
She mentioned that any serious news about her life will come directly from her. Then the amateur baker continued, “In the meantime please assume no news from me just means I’m quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are – failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones, and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people.”
The Harry Potter alum concluded by sharing some optimistic well wishes: “I am sending so much love to you, hoping you’re ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times. And again, thank you to everyone working so hard to keep us safe and well.”
The UN Women Goodwill Ambassador is not active on her Instagram feed since June 2020. She didn’t post anything there. Her last acting role was two years ago in Little Women, Beauty and the Beast, and The Circle.
