Sarah Cudd was an army captain based in Fort Knox, Kentucky. As part of her training, the 29-year-old joined her fellow soldiers in the Public Health Command to face a particularly arduous challenge. She was just feet away from completing the challenge, when, all of a sudden, she collapsed in a heap on the dusty dirt track. Her companions weren’t too impressed, and their reaction resulted in a video that went viral.

This was an important day for Cudd and her colleagues. They were completing a test for the Expert Field Medical Badge. This reward is held in high regard and involves passing some very difficult physical challenges. The soldiers are really pushed to their limits.
