The north London band Wolf Alice has announced their live return. They shared a huge schedule for the UK and Irish tour of 2022. This popular band returned last month with the first taste of their forthcoming third album named “Blue Weekend”.
Wolf Alice will head back out on the road next January. It is heard that the tour will run throughout the month. It will begin in Glasgow at the Barrowland Ballroom and wrap up on January 30 in Bristol.
The rock band shared on Twitter, “We’ve finally got a tour to announce and it feels soo gooood (promoters get the hummous ready) we are coming home.”
They also shared a statement on Facebook, “i can not wait to wake up extremely dehydrated on the tour bus and step outside to see theo kicking a ball about in norwich UEA car park, to drink my breakfast beer to the sweet tones of joff’s noodling in glasgow barrowland’s dressing room (up there with my favey d rooms i must say).”
Then continued, “i can’t wait to play these new songs live they are gonna sound so gooooood…if no one turns up to these shows so please buy a ticket i know it seems far away right now but it will be worth it promise.”
In a recent cover interview, Wolf Alice explained the story behind the title of their upcoming album. They said, “Blue is a nice colour, but it also means sad…And I often think the weekend is so fun, but lots of drama takes place then so sometimes it’s the catalyst for your downfall.”
