The Irish band Fontaines D.C. has finished mixing their third album. The band confirmed that it is almost finished. The band’s bassist Conor Deegan has also revealed this good news. Conor said, “it’s a good one”.
In response to a fan’s question, Deegan explained about the album release. He wrote, “We just finished mixing the next record last week, sounding really great. It’s funny because we were so swept up with touring when we were writing a hero’s death, I think we only got a sense of what that record really is now.”
Then he wrote, “But with this one, we were really well-rested and present mentally for writing it, so the music really reflects that. Can’t wait to put it out, it’s a good one.”
Last July these Irish punks released their second album titled “A Hero’s Death”. Now over a year after their third album, “Dogrel” came out.
Besides this album, the band is sponsoring an away kit for Dublin-based football club Bohemians. This is an initiative to support homelessness charity.
