Du Blonde released a new song in collaboration with Ezra Furman. The new track ‘I’m Glad That We Broke Up’ dropped this week which is good news indeed for their fans.

Du Blonde whose real name is Beth Jeans Houghton shared on Instagram, ‘I’m Glad That We Broke Up’ is “our take on a 60s girl group/glam rock explosion”. The artist said that the song is “about breaking up, regretting it and getting back together”.

Earlier she wrote, “Ok we can’t keep it in anymore. Me and @ezra.furman.visions have a single coming out on WEDNESDAY,” The singer also wrote, “It’s called ‘I’m Glad That We Broke Up’ and it’s our take on a 60s girl group/glam rock explosion. I feel like Ezra and I have been traveling towards a duet for years and we finally got our shit together.”

Fans can recall that Houghton and Furman have worked together earlier. In 2019, Houghton directed the animated video for Furman’s ‘Twelve Nudes‘ single ‘Calm Down AKA I Should Not Be Alone’. But this song is their first song collaboration.
