Taylor Hanson and his longtime wife Natalie Hanson have officially welcomed their seventh child together. They named their princess Maybellene. Though the newborn arrived on Dec. 7, “MMMBop” singer Taylor Hanson announced the family’s sweet news with fans on Dec. 17.
The proud dad confirmed on Instagram, “Meet our baby girl Maybellene Alma Joy, born Dec 7th, 2020,” He also added, “7 is a beautiful number.” Earlier in September, Taylor revealed the big news that his family was expecting once again. Taylor wrote on Instagram at the time, “The best kind of unexpected,” He also wrote, “Number seven coming this December. #2020.”
The pair was awaiting the arrival of their son Claude two years ago. Claude was officially born on Dec. 26, 2018. Taylor Hanson and Natalie Hanson tied the knot back in June 2002. Since then, they are proud parents to Jordan, Penelope, River, Viggo, and Wilhelmina. The busy couple is now approaching nearly 20 years of marriage.
Natalie wrote about this surprise pregnancy in a piece published on her website. She wrote, “I have some similar physical symptoms that have been around each time, and for the most part all of my pregnancies have been healthy and uneventful. But at the same time, each one has been completely different, and those differences have much more to do with external factors than with the baby itself.”
She also wrote. “It’s too soon to tell all that I will learn this time around, but I can already see glimpses of insight I have yet to experience until now, so thank you little number seven. We’re waiting for you.” Then she concluded, “Each pregnancy has been different, each birth has been a little different, and each one has gifted me with hard-learned lessons on life and love.”
