It seems the British royal family isn’t immune to an occasional social media mishap. Because recently an odd tweet appeared on Queen Elizabeth’s official Twitter account.

The tweet was live for just six minutes and within this short period, the short yet strange message gained 1,260 likes and 591 retweets. However, someone from the Royal Family social media page provider quickly catch the mistake and deleted it promptly. The tweet simply says, “Thanks.” Social media users didn’t miss the chance to welcome any regal appreciation, even it was accidental.

Clarence House social media provides updates to the Royal Family page. They also provide updates on Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla. But Prince William and Kate Middleton’s social media pages are followed by Kensington Royal.

Because some negative comments were aimed at Camilla for the last few days. It is assumed that as the fourth season of The Crown, now airing on Netflix, so people are throwing negative comments to the Duchess of Cornwall. This season of “The Crown” is focusing largely on the early stages of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.
