We all love to possess a cool shade of eye shadow. But, if you feel like buying blue shades, just don’t! Professional makeup artists had revealed to The List that applying shades of blue should be avoided as it makes someone look older than their actual age.
“The days of wearing blue eyeshadow should be behind you,” DC-base makeup artist Ariel Lewis told The List. Instead, she “recommends that you try darker, more muted colors – such as navy instead of bright blue, or deep jade instead of green.” When it comes to makeup looks that won’t add years, color is definitely key. So make sure color isn’t just on-trend, but that it is the right color for one’s specific skin tone.
