The 45-year-old actor Dax Shepard Said his Armchair Expert listeners that he had relapsed. He also expressed his gratitude for their kind words.
The Parenthood star Shepard mentioned, “Just quickly, I want to say thanks to all the people that have been so unbelievably lovely to us in response to ‘Day 7’.”
He continued, “My fears were the opposite of what the result was, yeah…But yeah, struggling with some fraudulent feelings of receiving love based on a f–kup. But, at any rate, I am really grateful, and there are so many beautiful, nice people.”
Shepard was still managing all of his day-to-day responsibilities and now it seems that he had everything under control. That’s why Shepard brought Padman and his wife Kristen Bell together and told them everything. He proceeded to attend meetings, get support from friends, and experience withdrawal symptoms.
Shepard is celebrating 16 years of sobriety and titled the podcast episode “Day 7. Because he was on day seven of his new sobriety journey when he recorded the podcast on Sept. 21.
He wrote on Instagram “An episode I hoped I’d never had to record, but one I felt I owed to all the beautiful Armcheries who have been on this ride with me for the last couple years.”
