The 28-year-old singer Selena Gomez and the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK have something in the works for their fans. They have made a team for a new single.
The new track will be released on August 28. It will be BLACKPINK’s second single from their forthcoming debut album which is going to be released on October 2.
Recently the “Lose You to Love Me” singer captioned her Instagram post, “So SO excited to announce @BlackPinkOfficial and I have a new song coming out August 28th!” She also teas the song and tag the other members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisamark. BLACKPINK posted the cover art on their Instagram account. However, the track’s title has not revealed yet.
The new single is a follow-up to BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That”. That track surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify within a month. Earlier in May, they were featured on Lady Gaga’s upbeat track “Sour Candy” off her album Chromatica.
Gomez released her third solo studio album, Rare in January. Her new singles were released in the following months. Additionally, the actress would star alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short in the upcoming Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. But the most interesting part for her fans is the 10-part quarantine cooking series of “Selena + Chef” is going to debut next week on HBO Max.
