War movies sometimes take us to a completely different world, that we have never imagined being in. Most of us are fortunate enough not to be a part of the war as wars are brutal. Unluckily, most of the war films are exaggerated and action-packed in order to please the spectators. Yet, at the same time, there are some exceptional movies which show war as it is, without over-dramatizing and the list below shows some movies which depict war in its true sense.
