This sugary sweet fruit can be considered as a good source of protein. A 100-gram portion of dates contains 2.45 grams of protein. People of the Middle-eastern countries have been consuming these fruits as a staple for years. You can easily use it in your daily recipe to prepare a sweetening paste for milkshakes and baked goods as well.
