One of the food items we wasted every day is bread. Bread can do two things when past its prime. It can go stale or go moldy. It is recommended that you don’t eat moldy bread. But if your bread is stale but not moldy, you can easily make some yummy recipe with this bread-like bread fried with egg or bread pudding.

The next food item that is often wasted is rice. Rice carries an extra risk because of a bacteria called bacillus cereus. It produces a toxin and cannot be destroyed by heat. If you’ve cooked too much rice, you need to cool the leftovers immediately and store that in the fridge. You can reheat that rice later. It will help you to reduce the risk of food poisoning.
