Twenty-three of the world’s biggest models are auctioning their clothes from their closets to raise money for two great causes.
The biggest fashion model like Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, and Ashley Graham teamed up with British Vogue for a special project called the Way We Wore Auction, to raise money for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and NHS Charities Together (United Kingdom’s National Health Service).
While quarantining from home, the clothes and accessories are presented in selfie photos taken by the models. Those designer dresses will be available in the July issue of British Vogue for bidding on the “Hardly Ever Worn It” website. The auction will ends on June 12 at 2 p.m.BST. Interested people can purchase the prints of the photos at £50.
Hadid shared a selfie where her boyfriend Zayn Malik also present with her. In that selfie, we can see the back of Zayn that shows his tattoos and a Dior saddle bag that’s up for auction. Hadid is now pregnant and expecting her first child. She wears a Fenty denim jacket and a corset dress.
This auction will benefit the two organizations, amid the global coronavirus pandemic and the worldwide protests against racial injustice.
