Survivor host Jeff Probst has recently opened up about a recent health scare incident of his life. This health-scare incident has left him with temporary memory loss.
Recently Jeff has appeared on Live With Kelly and Ryan show. In this show, Jeff recalled the “really weird” situation that he had to experience. This incident happened to him a few months ago when he had “absolutely no memory”.
Jeff explained the incident to the co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. A few months ago Jeff and his wife, Lisa Ann Russell were traveling and at that time Jeff first realized his memory loss. He couldn’t recall his wife’s date of birth. “I couldn’t figure it out,” Jeff said. “So I texted my wife and asked, “Can you call me?” Then Lisa called him and asked, “What’s going on?”
Jess told his wife that he didn’t know what was happening, but he didn’t know “anything”. Even he couldn’t remember where his wife and kids were at that time. At that moment Jeff realized that “something’s wrong”. Over the next few hours, Jeff had “zero recollection of anything”
The 58-year-old TV star explained that he had no idea who he was and where he was at that moment. He had no idea why he was wearing his clothes. He even couldn’t remember what the day it was.
The next morning Jeff went to visit a neurosurgeon who figured it out that he had transient global amnesia. It was a sudden episode of temporary memory loss. Jeff explained Ripa and Seacrest that he thought it could possibly be “early dementia”.
However, this TV celebrity confirmed that he is absolutely fine now.
