Ryan Guzman recently shared a video on Instagram where he recounted the night he returned home from work only to discover his 1-year-old son Mateo was struggling to breathe.
Actor Guzman and his fiancée Chrysti Ane welcomed their son in January 2019 and when that bad incident happened the baby boy was only 12-months-old. Guzman’s little boy was wheezing and coughing which was very scary and the worst nightmare for that couple.
The star reflected his experience as ”I’ve been through some scary events in my life, but none scarier than coming home after work seeing your fiancée rush to your son’s room and find out he can barely breathe.”. The Boy Next Door star wrote in that social media post, “On little sleep, but none the less I woke up thankful today. Yet again another reminder to take advantage of the time we’re given”.
Guzman added at that video, “If you’d like, I challenge everyone takes a couple of minutes out of your day to appreciate one thing today. Whether it’s something menial that you usually overlook on your day to day busy life or it’s a person in your life that has been underappreciated”.
He thanked the 911 operator who kept both my fiancée and I calm during a hectic period. Guzman said that it is the worst nightmare for every parent to find their baby in bad health condition. He maintained the same tone in that social media post’s caption and expressed his gratefulness to have his little boy in his life.
