40. He Lives

Only a few moments after he took his first breath, little Jaxon was taken to have surgery to try and save him from the heart condition. The new parents waited with bated breath to see what would happen. Thankfully, it all worked out.

After a full week of procedures, the doctors declared that the surgery was successful, and let the grateful parents bring their precious baby home. Of course, Megan and Jon kept a close eye on Jaxson, but, to everyone’s delight, it was A-OK. This military family’s story would go on to have a happy ending.
